Keegan can read, and he learned how to by reading. people write to publish their ideas or fantasies, or observations, so that they may be viewed by others or reread by themselves. in order to write well, he thinks the only thing they need to know is how to appeal to their audience. The kind of writing Keegan likes is short, to the point style of writing, because he hates having to expand writing beyond its usefulness. To decide what to write about, Keegan usually finds inspiration in the prompt the teacher tells him he has to write about. He doesn't think that a response can help him with his writing skill, he's arrogant that way. Keegan never writes at home. He usually feels like what he writes is what was asked for, and dislikes what he writes without the school's "guidelines".
